Jens is part of InchDairnie’s DNA, having been with us since the distillery was nothing more than a green field. Today, he leads our dynamic marketing team across all brands. Working closely with our founder, Ian Palmer, and creative agencies, Jens helped develop the award-winning InchDairnie Distillery bottle. With his team and colleagues, he has overseen the relaunch of Islay Mist, the launch of WaterProof, and the rejuvenation of Lauder’s. He also collaborates with Scott Sneddon on cask management and whisky maturation, playing a key role in the distillery’s spirit of innovation.
Before joining InchDairnie, Jens served as Global Brand Manager for Balvenie and became Glenfiddich’s very first Brand Ambassador. Beyond the distillery, he has authored several books on whisky and aquavit and contributed to Whisky Magazine — including a feature on Welsh whisky. A former Royal Guard and handball player, Jens has plenty of stories to share.
Favourite Drink? A double, neat — though choosing between RyeLaw and KinGlassie is no easy task. Jens is also known for using whisky in his (in)famous chocolate-covered half-kilo marzipan yule logs.
