Lesley joined MacDuff at the age of 16 as a Stock Controller — not entirely sure where life would take her, but the world of Scotch Whisky certainly had its appeal. After a few years gaining experience, she transitioned into finance, a role she genuinely enjoyed. However, with a natural preference for spending rather than saving, she soon discovered her niche in Purchasing and Production Management. This position also saw her take on the daily running of the office, striking a balance between structure and spontaneity — something she embraced wholeheartedly.

Most recently, Lesley stepped into the role of Operations Director, where she continues to juggle responsibilities with ease (and still with a smile 😊).

Outside of work, Lesley is a passionate football fan. As a child, her dream job was to become a football manager — and while the dugout never came calling, she brings that same strategic mindset to her work every day. When it comes to a dram, her favourite pour is KinGlassie Raw served over ice.
